If so, New Horizon Kennel has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Groomer in our on-site salon.Pay & PerksWe reward skill, efficiency, and dedication with a compensation structure designed to maximize your earning potential.Commission-based pay for full groomsHourly pay for additional servicesEarning potential: Successful groomers can earn $50,000+ annually, with higher earning potential based on productivity and client retention.Benefits include:Health insurance (full-time employees)Dental and Vision InsuranceRetirement plan with employer matchPaid time off (PTO)Employee discountsProfessional development supportWhat You'll DoIn this role, you'll provide high-quality grooming services while ensuring each pet's comfort, safety, and well-being.Key responsibilities:Perform full grooms, including haircuts, bathing, and nail careHandle pets with care, patience, and professionalismMaintain a clean, sanitary, and organized grooming environmentSanitize and properly maintain grooming tools and equipmentAccurately document grooming notes, communicate with the Client Services Team, and Pet Care ManagerYou'll be supported by our Pet Care Technicians and Client Service Specialists, allowing you to focus on what you do best-grooming.ScheduleTypically, five shifts per week (8:00 AM – 6:00 PM)Scheduling may vary based on business needsWeekend availability requiredWhat We're Looking ForMinimum qualifications:At least 2 years of grooming experienceBasic computer skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.You'll thrive in this role if you are:Detail-oriented and safety-focusedEthical and compassionate in animal careProfessional in appearance and communicationA reliable, self-motivated team playerPositive and adaptable in a fast-paced environmentAbout UsIn operation since 2012, we have a stellar reputation in our community and the surrounding region as a modern pet care facility committed to quality services and excellent care for dogs and cats.
